Shoutouts:

Red: Shoutout to the whole red team. We played not quite savage except for Amelia who was playing savage. Jake finally let Cara see a backflip and also did a sea lion (?). Neville scored and threw for scores on his birthday!

Blue: So so proud of our team for the W’s!! Everyone had such important plays these two games that it’s so hard to choose shoutouts.
Special shoutout to the amazing defenses from Anslem. He was in the sky every opportunity he had and got the Ds!
Shoutout to Ari for great cuts and continuations. Flowing through the stack and catching the disc everytime!
Shoutout to Heather for great movement that lead to a score!
And finally we have to shoutout Evan for getting a layout callahan, he took us to half!

Black: Shoutout to the entire team. We had 2 subs so everyone tried so hard to play smart. We were missing the majority of our regular handlers so we had to figure spacing and play styles that worked for our new formation. It was starting to work in game 2! Special shoutout to Larry and Mal for taking the reigns and talking strategy with the team. Thank you Kar for subbing for us.

White: Shoutout to Eleni for making a bunch of great deep cuts even though the rest of us kept underthrowing her. Nick had some solid handling and was patient with the disc. Josh Pribe had potentially the best dive I’ve ever seen in order for a throw to connect to Savannah in the end zone. Tanya skied two players on red and then marched the disc down the fields for a bookend score. Lots of heart from the short-staffed white team.
